Bhakarwadi or Bakarwadi is a traditional sweet and spicy snack that is believed to have originated in the Indian state of Gujarat. Bhakarwadi is popular not only in Gujarat, but also all over the country. Bkakarwadi has gram flour (besan) as the primary ingredient. Bhakarwadi is essentially a spiral snack that has an outer shell of gram flour and an inner filling of coconut and other spices. Bhakarwadi is fried till crispy and is divided into small pieces.
